Our Story

How It Happened

April 2017

About Us

It began with two simple phrases, "manlibre ka naman" and "tara, dinner tayo." The year was 2007, and we were mere schoolmates and council officers, acquaintances with no inkling of romance was yet to unfold. Years passed and fate's hand intervened.

We rekindled our friendship in 2013 over a friendly dinner in Eastwood. Our journey to becoming a couple was a gradual one. It took a number crazy bus and taxi rides to and from Ortigas - Makati -Taguig, Nino’s late night naps at the nearest convenience store/fast food chain so he can go home with Janice and a thousand texts to cement the label of love. Janice lived by the accountant's wise maxim, "never assume unless otherwise stated," and so we took our time, letting love blossom at its own pace.

In 2017, we officially became a couple, and our love took flight (literally!). In 2019, we put our love to the test, probing the depths of long-distance and finding that true love knows no bounds. And now, as we approach our seventh year together, we stand ready to build a home and a life intertwine

He proposed, I said Yes

December 17, 2022

Our Engagement Day

The stage was set for a classic family holiday at Whiterock Beach Hotel & Waterpark in Subic Zambales. Little did Janice know, a secret plan was brewing in the background!

Niño had a surprise up his sleeve and was planning a romantic sunset proposal at the resort. Unfortunately, traffic had other plans, and they arrived in the evening. But, no worries, Nino still had the magic touch! He wooed his love with a heart-melting rendition of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect." Of course, she said "YES!" Who could resist such a perfect moment?

Frequently Asked Questions

With our wedding on 30th November 2023 fast approaching, we understand that our guests may have a few questions regarding the event. We have compiled the most frequently asked questions and their answers to ensure that everyone is well-informed and prepared for the big day.

We encourage guests to arrive at the church venue by 8:30 AM. The processional will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and we would love to see everyone as we take our first walk down the aisle.

We request all guests to keep their phones turned off during the processional and ceremony. This will be an unplugged and solemn event. However, guests are welcome to take photos after we have been pronounced as husband and wife. Our professional team of photographers and videographers will also be there to capture the special moments, which we promise to share with everyone after the wedding.

The pre-program at the reception will start at 11:00 AM. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. Guests can register, find their seats, mingle with other guests, and participate in the raffle. There will also be a Live Caricature and Photoman for everyone's enjoyment.

While guests can choose to proceed directly to the reception, we would appreciate seeing everyone at the church when we exchange our vows.

Ample and free parking space will be available within the Trabiesa grounds on the wedding day. As the venue is reserved for one event per day, guests can rest assured that their cars will be safe.

Seats at the reception are pre-arranged for everyone's convenience. Our coordinators will assist guests in finding their designated seats.

Due to the limited number of guests we can accommodate, only children who are part of the entourage and have been specifically confirmed will be attending. We request understanding and cooperation from our guests regarding this decision.

We aim to conclude the program around 4pm. If guests need to leave early, we would love to thank them and say goodbye before they depart. However, we request that guests avoid leaving during the screening of the Same Day Edit video.

We request all our guests to RSVP so that we can finalize the headcount for catering and seating arrangements. Should there be any changes in the RSVP status, we request guests to inform us as soon as possible.

We encourage our guests to dress up and be fabulous! Ladies are requested to wear a Cocktail/Midi/Long Dress or Jumpsuits. Gentlemen are requested to wear long sleeves and slacks. The prescribed colors are grey, dusty blue, light blue, and silver. Casual attire, white (reserved for the bride), and navy blue (reserved for the groom) are strictly prohibited.

As we are planning to start our married life abroad, we would appreciate it if guests could give us envelopes for our future rather than boxes of gifts. This would be a joyful blessing for us.

On the wedding day, please get in touch with our Coordinator, Anne Alcantara from Kylix Events and Promotions, for any urgent concerns.

Guests can help us have the best time during the wedding by praying with us for favors and provisions, RSVPing now, wearing appropriate attire, being there on time, and staying until the end of the program.

While we are unable to provide accommodation for our guests, there are a large selection of hotels, Airbnb, guest houses, and condos available in Tagaytay. We would be happy to recommend a few places if needed.
